ICAS will comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules and guidelines made thereunder, including any amendments.
If the Site acts as an intermediary under Indian law:
Due diligence will be observed, including a grievance redressal mechanism.
A designated officer for grievance (name, contact) will be appointed.
Mechanism to address user complaints and remove prohibited content when required.
ICAS will adhere to applicable privacy laws and proposed or enacted data protection legislation in India, ensuring a lawful basis for processing personal data (consent or other grounds).
A process will be provided for users to report misuse of their data or violation of rights. Procedure for takedown of infringing or prohibited content will be implemented.
Comply with Indian Consumer Protection laws where applicable.
Follow rules for electronic records, digital signatures (IT Act).
Cross-border data transfer policies will be consistent with legal norms if transferring data outside India.
